1. License Grant
Clashtrix grants the Licensee a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to install and use the Clashtrix software in accordance with the license purchased or granted.
The software is licensed, not sold.
2. Trial License
Clashtrix may provide a trial license period of fourteen (14) days to allow users to evaluate the software.
The trial period duration and conditions may be modified at any time without prior notice. Trial licenses are provided solely for evaluation purposes and may include limited functionality or restrictions. At the end of the trial period, continued use of the software requires the purchase of a valid license.
3. License Types
The standard license for Clashtrix is:
- Single-user license
- Subscription period of one (1) year
This license permits installation and use by one individual user on a single workstation.
Any alternative licensing models may be granted only through a separate written agreement between the Licensor and Licensee, including:
- Multi-user licenses
- Floating licenses
- Enterprise licenses
- Custom subscription terms
License reassignment within the same organization may be permitted upon request.
4. License Activation
After the trial period, the software requires license validation or activation to continue operating. Users must maintain a valid license during the subscription period. Failure to maintain a valid license may result in restricted functionality or inability to use the software.
5. Restrictions
The Licensee may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- Modify or create derivative works based on the software
- Redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, or lease the software
- Share license keys with unauthorized users
- Circumvent license validation or security mechanisms
6. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the software, including all copyrights, trademarks, and intellectual property rights, remain the exclusive property of the Licensor.
Clashtrix® and related branding elements may not be used without written permission.
7. Updates and Improvements
All future updates, improvements, and feature enhancements released during an active subscription period will be made available to licensed users at no additional cost.
Updates may include performance improvements, bug fixes, compatibility updates, and new features.
Access to updates may require a valid and active subscription.
8. Support
Technical support may be provided at the discretion of the Licensor. Support scope and response times may vary depending on the license agreement or subscription plan.
9. Software Usage and Best Practice
Clashtrix is developed following industry best practices and is intended to support professional coordination workflows within Autodesk Navisworks.
The software is designed for use by professionals familiar with BIM coordination processes, clash detection methodologies, and Navisworks project environments.
Users are expected to understand the workflows, requirements, and implications of the operations being performed within the software.
Before performing extensive or automated operations on project models, it is recommended that users maintain proper model backups and version control, particularly while becoming familiar with the software features and operational procedures.
Clashtrix provides tools that interact directly with project models and clash data. Users should ensure that they review and verify the results generated by the software as part of their normal coordination and quality control processes.
10. User Responsibility
The user assumes full responsibility for the correct use of the software and for verifying the results generated by its features. The software operates within the Autodesk Navisworks environment and interacts with project models created by third-party applications. Clashtrix shall not be responsible for issues related to model integrity, third-party software behavior, or data originating from external sources.
Clashtrix shall not be held responsible for any issues resulting from:
- Improper use of the software
- Incorrect configuration or workflow application
- Misunderstanding of the software features or processes
- Modification or deletion of model data caused by user actions
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of their project files and ensuring that the software is used within the intended BIM coordination workflows.
Any data loss, model modifications, or project impacts resulting from incorrect use of the software remain the responsibility of the user.
11. Termination
This Agreement shall terminate automatically if the Licensee fails to comply with any term of this Agreement.
Upon termination, the Licensee must cease all use of the software and uninstall all copies.
12. Changes to This Agreement
The Licensor reserves the right to update or modify this Agreement from time to time. Updated versions may be published with future software releases or made available through official Clashtrix documentation channels.
Continued use of the software after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
